Employee Engagement at Appcast
At Appcast, we strive to create a culture that prioritizes employee engagement. To monitor employee sentiment continuously, we leverage Peakon – a Workday engagement solution.
Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) is calculated by asking employees a single question: “On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely are you to recommend Appcast as a place to work?” Based on their responses, employees are classified into three categories: Promoters (scoring 9-10), Passives (scoring 7-8), and Detractors (scoring 0-6). eNPS is then determined by subtracting the percentage of Detractors from the percentage of Promoters, resulting in a score that ranges from -100 to +100.

In our most recent survey, 95% of Appcast employees participated and 800 comments were provided – all of which were reviewed by our CEO. Key Appcast organizational attributes valued by employees include flexibility, support, and communication – both from managers as well as transparency from executives about company strategy; areas of focus from constructive employee feedback include workload, reward, and diversity & inclusion.
