To say the job of a recruiting leader has changed in recent years is an understatement. New Technologies, greater reliance on data for decision making, and recognition that talent drives corporate success have all had an impact.
Not surprisingly, 67% of recruiters responding to a 2018 survey conducted by Monster said the job was more difficult than five years ago. Add recent challenges brought about by a global pandemic, including a volatile labour market, where it’s more difficult and often more costly to find candidates, and it becomes apparent that today’s recruiting leader has a very different job.
